2 Samuel 22:1-4

2 Samuel 22:1-4
 
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my savior; You save me from violence.  I will call upon the Lord; who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”
 
On the day of the great landslide, when the mountain falls into the valley – I will expose my hidden treasures.  There the gold, silver and diamonds shall be waiting for my people.  Great will be the wailing of the nations, when the mighty mountain falls.  In one day, suddenly, she will fall.  And after the dust and rocks settle, then the many treasures shall be found poking out of the rubble and along the side of the mountain.  The mountain will be halved on that day.  She will fall without warning.  She will fall and be made low.  All the people will be in hiding, but Gods servants will be waiting.  Once the side of the mountain falls into the valley, then the people of the Lord will go and run up the mountain.  There they shall gather and pluck the treasures out from her rubble and exposed side. 
 
This is the Lords word and promise to His bride. 
 
Interpretation:
 
I am planning a festivity for my bride and my bride will need a dowry.  This is to prepare for the wedding day and the feast.  This is the Lords gift to His church.  Time to rejoice and be glad, for the beloved is returning for His bride! 
 
I am the Lord Yahweh, the one true God; and I will supply all your needs.  I know all of your needs and wants. I will prepare you for my return.  I will prepare you to be a help to others who are in want.
 
Believe me when I say - I long for my church.  Yet I delay for the sake of the many, to ensure salvation to the lost.
 
I love you, my people, and watch you closely with my eye.  You are dear to me and always in my Heart.  Help the poor and lonely, keep watch for my coming, and prepare for me.  I will soon be with you in a new way.
