We Must Obey God, Rather Than Men

“We must obey God, rather than men”

My child,
Lo, I am near.
Call upon Me,
That I may answer you.
I Am ever close
to the broken hearted,
and those little ones
who are in need.
I see the trials
you face each day,
And I am at your side
to steady your steps.
My hand supports you.
My right hand defends you.
My child,
Let it be known,
Throughout the land.
Whoever, hears My voice
and obeys Me,
These are My children and
My grandchildren.
I hold them in My heart
and they are mine.
But, to those who hear My voice
And do not obey?
I say to you,
Return to Me now,
while it is still daylight,
and I may repent of the
Judgement I have
planned for you,
And have mercy on you still.
Am I not slow to anger,
and long suffering?
Yet you try Me,
with your insolence,
And I am weary of you.
Try Me in this then,
Return to Me and see
if I do not lift you up
on high to be seated
with Me in My council.
Behold, the Lord,
Jehovah, is speaking now.
Hear My voice.
Return to Me
with all your heart,
And I will answer you.
