Out of the Mouths of My Own Children

My child,
Out of the mouths,
Of My own children,
Comes blessings as
Well as curses.
Be careful,
What words you declare
With your mouths.
Am I not God?
Do I not hear
Every word spoken
By your tongues?
Therefore, be righteous
In every way!
Answer a question
with a Yes or a No,
and do not add to it.
Be careful with
Your speech and
Live simply in Me.
Am I not your redemption,
And warrior of defense?
If a brother or sister
Speaks ill against you,
Do as I commanded
And pray for that one,
That I may forgive them.
For as it is written,
Not one word will be
forgiven until the entire
debt has been paid.
