1/15/23: Todays meditation: I WILL BE WITH YOU AND BLESS YOU! At all times the blessing requires obedience to the voice of the Lord. In this case the Lord told Isaac to remain in the land as a foreigner. Remain and occupy the land, wherever the Lord places and directs you. Even if it is in the land of your enemies as this is where the Lord will bless you.

Tonight’s meditation: SURELY THE LORD IS IN THIS PLACE! Did you ever wonder if the Lord was where you are? Or if the Lord was with you? Here Jacob fell asleep on a rock in the middle of a plain and he sees the famous stairway to heaven with the angels going up and down and the Lord at the top of the stairway. Here he is given the promise of the Lord that he will receive the promise of Abraham and his descendants will be as many as the stars of the sky. He named that place and the rock Bethel. Sometimes it is when we are between a rock and a hard place that we receive the Lords promise, it is at an unexpected place and an unexpected time. But to the Lord the timing is perfect and the environment is just right! 🙏
