Today’s Meditation: FORGIVE THIS PEOPLE THEIR INIQUITY! Moses was an intercessor. I know many people say they do not need an intercessor between God and themselves, but let me remind you that that isn’t true according to Gods word. As we see in the first books of the Bible, it is clear from Abraham to Moses that all of Gods friends interceded for the people. Mary, the Mother of God, is an intercessor; as clearly seen in The wedding of Cana. She told the Lord that they have no wine.
Although, Our Lord clearly stated it wasn’t His time to show His miracles; He obeyed His mother. Mary did not tell Him what to do, or how to solve the problem; she just made Him aware of the problem and He listened to her and solved the issue His way! The people of God have always had intercessors before Him. Like Moses who begged for the peoples lives, even though they disobeyed God and refused to enter the promised land. Sometimes we need an intercessor, especially when you are on the judgement seat before God. 🙏
