Tonight’s meditation: THIS IS A GIFT TO YOU FROM THE PLUNDER OF THE ENEMIES OF THE LORD! God will plunder His enemies; He does it over and over again in scripture through His champions and prophets. Like with David who plundered the raiders of his town and returned his wives and children to himself and his soldiers. Not only that, then he was generous and shared the excess plunder with his friends and benefactors! He even scolded those warriors among his company who didn’t want to share the spoils with the the men who hadn’t fought for it. So we must remember to do the same! Treat all people with love and kindness and let them share in the spoils, which the Lord has laid up and set aside for you. Even though others may not have fought for these spoils as you have, it is your responsibility to care for those who stayed behind to keep watch for you over other matters. If the Lord entrusts you with much, then He expects you to give generously and fairly all that He has entrusted to you to others. 🙏
