I have redeemed them.
Zech 10:8; John 15 NLT

“This is my commandment:
Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command.”

The word the Lord spoke to me
This morning is, “I have redeemed them.”
And He directed me to John 15.
Here we see that the Lord laid down
His own life as the Lamb of God, in
Order to redeem the life of the sinner.
He became the sin offering.

So we are commanded to Love
Others in the same way that He has
Loved us. And there is no greater
Love, than to lay down one’s life
For one’s friends.

And we also are His friends
if we do what He commands.
If we offer up our sufferings and lives
As a sin offering to help redeem
Our brothers and sisters in Christ.

So in order to redeem others,
We need to love them even as
God loved us, to lay down our lives.
Even in small and childlike ways,
Where we can lay down our wants
And desires for the greater good of
Another in order to elevate their needs
Above our own wants; and this is also
in agreement with His love.

It gives me great hope and joy,
Knowing that the Lord has redeemed
My loved ones, and that through our
Prayers and sacrifices, offered in union
With Him and His passion and death on
The cross; we also act in union with Him
As conduits of His grace, by His mercy.

When we unite ourselves to His cross,
We become co-redeemers with Him.
As Paul explained it in Colossians 1:24.
I am glad when I suffer for you in my body,
for I am participating in the sufferings of Christ
that continue for his body, the church.”

We can do nothing without Him, only in Him
And through Him. He is the firstborn son,
And we are sons and daughters because
Of Him. We are also called His friends,
When we do as He has commanded us.

Meditation:
I have redeemed them.
John 15

Prayer:
Father in heaven thank you for your great love
And mercy. Thank you for sending your dearly
Beloved son, Jesus, to die for our sins. I thank
You for redeeming me and also my loved ones.
Please help us to love our brothers and sisters
In Christ more and help us to be sacrificial in
Our love. Help us like Mary to stand bravely at
the foot of the cross and not count the cost.
Mary, Help of Christian’s, pray for us. 🙏

It is out of My great love for them
That I have done this.

So that all who call
Upon My name shall
Be saved. For My
Name’s sake.

I have redeemed them,
And I have called them

Follow Me, wherever I lead

You and will Help You.

I am at your right hand.

And I have chosen you.
