On the rosary: St. Padre Pio said the rosary is the weapon! The reason I believe he said this was from his own personal experience. He was beaten and tortured by the evil one many nights for the salvation of souls. Padre Pio was known to pray the rosary 6 times a day or more! It was always in his hands which bore the stigmata of Christ. One can not always be reading the Bible, but one can always meditate upon the mysteries of Christs birth/youth, ministry/miracles, death/passion, and resurrection and life to come in heaven! This is power! The power comes from the grace that Mary alone was given by God to distribute to the faithful (see the miraculous medal and the rays of grace emanating from her hands). As it says in Genesis and in Revelation; God is highlighting the importance of this as He puts it in the beginning and end of the Bible: She/The Woman will crush the head of Satan! How will she do this? With her heel! Who is a part of her heel? All those humble enough to pray the rosary for the triumph of her Immaculate Heart, for in the end her immaculate heart will triumph. As she said in Fatima, Pray the Rosary for Peace in the World, and by praying the rosary you will usher in the era of Peace, which is the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Just like we are all one body in Christ and He is our head, she is one with Him. Her heart is perfectly joined to the sacred heart of Jesus. And she will always direct you to Him! Power in weakness! God takes the foolish things of the world (the rosary) and uses them to bring down the proud(evil, Satan) Read the Magnificat. Who fell due to pride? Satan. It is all in the Bible. Ask God for revelation and inspiration. Peace and prayers.
Divine Mercy Chaplet: Good to pray for the sick and dying for their conversion and peaceful death as well as to avert natural disasters, as Jesus told sister Faustina, she is His Apostle of Mercy, and Mercy is the last hope for Mankind and His way to avert God’s just punishment and wrath on the earth. I have also experienced Gods wrath being averted by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet for my region. As our Lord said, Pray without ceasing! This is another way to pray without ceasing and recalling the Mercy obtained for us sinners by our Lords suffering and death on the cross and His mysteries of grace obtained for us there! It is also Eucharistic as it recalls our Lords death as the pascal lamb of God and the blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us. The Eucharist is the true body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ our Lord and the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Image also incorporate all of these mysteries. That is why the universal church approved the Divine Mercy Chaplet and its Image and have given to those who pray it and go to communion and confession the week after the church celebrates His resurrection a complete and total indulgence for remission of all sins and all punishment due to ones sins. It is comparable to baptism in the cleansing of the soul. Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated the Sunday after Easter in the Catholic Church.
